These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of French for PR ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

French for PR is a French-language learning platform aimed at helping learners prepare for French proficiency exams (such as TEF Canada and TCF Canada) used in Canadian immigration applications. We do not guarantee any specific exam score, immigration outcome, or approval — the Service is educational in nature.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from Profile → Manage Subscription. Your Premium access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• We may change subscription pricing going forward; existing subscribers will be notified before any change takes effect on their next renewal.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account with others or resell access to the Service.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. AI Features

Some features (such as AI conversation and speaking practice) use third-party AI models to generate responses. These responses are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate — they should be used as a practice aid, not as an authoritative source on French grammar or immigration rules.

6. Intellectual Property

All lesson content, exercises, and materials on French for PR are our property or used under license, and may not be copied, redistributed, or resold without permission.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile → Danger Zone.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, French for PR is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including exam outcomes or immigration decisions.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
